Captain James Jason Johnson (Triple J) was born and raised in Key West, Florida and has been fishing the waters of Key West, the Dry Tortugas and the Marguesas his entire life.

Captain Jason honed his fishing skills commercial fishing Key West, until he was old enough to earn his Captains License. Capt. Jason started his charter company, Triple J Charters, over ten years ago. His commercial fishing experience has given him his vast knowledge of the bontiful Key West waters. He has the know-how to figure out where the fish are and how to catch them day in and day out.

Triple J Charters fishs a custom built, tournament rigged 32 ft SeaVee, built by one of the finest boat builders in Florida. Our 32 ft SeaVee not only affords one of the most comfortable rides, it is equipped with a pair of Mercury 300 hp Verado outboards, giving Captain Jason the ablitiy to get you out to any of the fishing grounds around Key West. When you step aboard Triple J Charters you'll see we customized this boat for serious fishing, with rod holders all along the gunnels to the 2 baitwells (120 gal & 60 gal) enough to keep live bait fresh and frisky for any fishing charter anywhere around Key West. Triple J Charters is equipped with the latest in electronics including the new Furuno FCV- 1150 bottom finder, Garmin GPS, I-com VHF and stereo. There is a porta-pottie onboard set inside the center console for privacy. There is plenty of dry storage for your extra clothing and personel effects. Extra large fish box, for your catch and cooler for any food and drinks you want to bring. We supply ice and water.

We offer a varied selection of charter fishing techniques depending on the season and what you want to fish for. Whether you are new to fishing and want to learn some different techniques or a seasoned angler looking to hone your skills, I will be more then happy to teach you. For your comfort we like to limit our trips to four people, although two or three people would be ideal so that I can devote my personal attention to you. We can also accommodate large groups with multiple boats.
